Just Pictures

Over the last week we have gone to SF twice and visited the Muir Woods National Monument. We have seen some pretty beautiful things and I think they best way for you to see what we have done is to just post all the pictures. So here they are…

The following are from Saturday, Nov. 2nd in San Francisco. We ended up walking about 7 miles, but were able to see a lot of the city.

The original sourdough bread bakery. Bread bowl with SF Clam Chowder..YUM!
A little crab at the wharf

We were about to walk up Hyde St. to get to Lombard St. and it was very steep. This picture doesn't even show how steep it is

We survived, view from the top go Hyde St.

China Town
We ate dinner here for $7 and it was delicious!
The next morning, Sunday, November 3rd, we went to see the Muir Woods with my Aunt, Uncle and little cousins. The trees are huge and so beautiful. When you are standing underneath one of the trees, you can't even see the top it looks like it goes on and on forever.

Thought this was funny! What is it with people trying to feed the animals?

Yesterday, November 6th, was our latest adventure. We decided to bike the Golden Gate Bridge and of course we opted for the tandem bike. This is something everyone should do because you can see the GG Bridge like you have never seen it before, but beware: it is not easy! It is over 8 miles from start to finish and a lot of it is uphill, so that alone makes it feel like it is much longer than 8 miles. We biked across the bridge to a cute little town called Sausalito and then we caught the ferry back to SF.

Alcatraz also from the ferry
